Tooo long

Wow it has been way to long !!!! I have not looked at my blog in such a long time. Wow!! Almost a year!!! CRAZY
Well so much has been happening. There is so much to be thankful for as well.
The first thing is that the Lord has healed my sister Etta. The cyst that was growing in her arm is healed, it has not come back. Praise the Lord for this!!! She does have to go back to the doctors every 4 months to have it checked. It is trully wonderful that is has not!!:)
Secondly Karla and Asa had there baby!!!! Praise the Lord!! They named her Anna Laura. She is so cute I was able to see her in church today! She is so cute! The Lord has blessed both mother and baby to be doing well. It has been years since there has been a baby at Mt. Carmel. Thank you Lord!
Um there are a few people who knew that I was "dating" James and have asked me why we are not together any more. All I can say is that the Lord was not in the matter. We are still really good friends but the Lord was not in the matter.
I guess it was in Feburary I went down to Huntsville, Al to see him and see if our relationship wpuld go to the next level. I prayed that the Lord would bless my trip down there and help my to open my eyes and show me the way that he wanted me to go. When I went down there things were great so they seemed. We both came to the concusion that it would be best if we stated as friends. So no wea re not together but are still friends. The Lord really did bless my trip to Huntsville. It was a blessing to be able to see everyone down there. I learned some great lessons, met new people, and I learned many new things.
I will have to write more later. I have to get to bed i have a long day tomorrow:(

Good times

Praise the Lord!!!!
The Lord had really blessed the camp up here in Md the other week. I was only there for one day because our van broke down, but it was a sweet day.One that I hope that I will remember for awhile to come:) The preaching was wonderful. Just what I was needing to hear. The Lord as a way of doing that. :) He is so wounderful. Oh my, the singing was GREAT. You could tell that the Lord was there. It was breath taking.

I want to thank everyone for coming. It was a great blessing not only to me but to the whole church. There were about 100 People there. It must have been the largest meeting that we have had in a long while...... Years. On Sunday the church building was packed. Praise the Lord for this.

Oh at the end of this month, Lord willing, I will be going to Tx for a week and a half. I pray that the Lord will use me to to give him glory and honor. I will be going down to see my family. Some of them I have never seen. So this will be all new. Please pray that all will go well. I will be able to spend some time with my oldest brother Robert and his family!!!! I can not wait to see them. While i am down there I think that my other older brother Mike will come down the day before I leave Tx. So that will be cool. He plans on staying down in Tx for awhile.

Well I have to get going. I have to get some things done here at the house. God bless!!

Alive

Ok I am alive!! There has been so much going on. I went to Grace Chaples meeting the other week and the Lord really did bless that meeting!! There were about 13 of us from Md that went down. The Lord trully did bless the meeting and the time of fellowship that we had. It took us about 18 hours to get there. We left around 3:30am on Thursday and got to the church around 6:30pm. So we made it just in time to eat and change for church services.
My brother Mike, my sister Etta and sister Julie and I went to Huntsville, Al for services on Sunday that was a blessing. We saw the new building that Brother Mike and his church are building.Praise the Lord!! It was great to have a sweet time of fellowship with those down there. It had been way to long long:( It was about 4 years ago last time I was down there. I will have to do better at this.
Today my brothers girlfriend comes into Md. He is very happy to have her here. I am happy for them both, they have not seen each other in such a long while.
Other then all of this I have been working. Nothing to much is going on.

A great weekend...

The Lord has really blessed last weekend. Our meeting was just wounderful, the preaching, singing, and the fellowship was a blessing. It was just what I know that I needed. We had all three Huffman brother and their whole families. Also their Dad and Mom came!! It was so great to see them all. The Lord did bless us, at one time to have Brother Andrew, Brother Justin, and Brother Mark at our church a few years ago. (They lived up here in Md while they either worked or went to school.) Now they have moved away and have beautiful families.

Our meeting started Friday night and ended on Sunday afternoon with our communion service. Friday night Brother Mark and Brother Andrew preached. The Lord blessed them to give such great messages. On Saturday we had the morning service and the evening but in between we all went over Brother Stevens house for a time of fellowship. All three brothers preached on Saturday:) Sunday, we had all three preach again. You could tell that the Lord was there. It was such a great blessing to be able to be there. After morning service and lunch we went into the communion service. That was the end of the meeting but it was a great one. I just wish that meeting just did not have to end.

Oh yes to top everything off...... My brother is home to stay. Dad went to go and pick my brother,Michael, up yesterday afternoon. He is just out of the Army, so he is home to stay!!!! I am thankful that the Lord has blessed my brother to come home.

A new day

Sorry that I have written in awhile. I have been pretty busy!! two weeks ago I was working for my pastor, Elder Steven Bloyd at his Asstisted living and last week I was able to go to Camp Moriah!!!! I was so thankful that I was able to go. It was my first time (I have been wanting to go for the last 4 years) and the Lord made away for me!!! I was able to take off work!!! I called the Doctore on Saturday and he said that it would be fine if I took off. So I went with the Humes for a 18 hours trip down to Camp Moriah!! The Lord was there!!! The preaching, singing, and the fellowship was so sweet. It was so worth the trip:) Praise the Lord for blessing us (the group from Md) to go down. It was so last mintute.
The preaching was great. The theme of the camp was on the Sovereignty of The Lord. The singing was wounderful. I love to hear when a group of fellow belivers get together and sing songs to the Lord. It is such a blessing to be able to have fellowship with those that hold the same beliefs as you. It was like a whole different world. It was great.


Oh for those who know my brother Michael, he is coming home this Sunday!!! He plans on getting out of the Army next month. It will be great to have him back home;) We do have to remember to keep all of those who are fighting for us in our prayers. There are so many out there.

Oh yes, Please remember our meeting this weekend. Lord willing we will be having all 3 of the Huffman brothers and their families!!! I pray that the Lord will bless this time.

Nothing new is going on... I just wanted to write so that I will keep this up. lol
Well on Friday night my sister and I went out with a few friends. That was a fun thing and it put a good ending on the end of the day:) On Saturday night James, Etta, and I went to a dance. So we spend most of the day getting ready for that. lol it was great getting ready. I love getting dressed up for a reason, time to time that is:) Etta looked so pretty and my brother was handsome.
Sunday was church but instead of going home I am working at an asstisted living this whole week. I was off from the dental office, so now I am helping Sister Julie. So, I am not at home and will not be for the rest of the week.It is great working with the elderly. They are filled with so many great stories. It is a blessing. Well I have to go back to work.

The Bird Story

Hey everyone!! I just thought that I would write this story down. It happened to me last friday and the people that I have told thought that is was funny. Well it started early Friday morning,around 6:30-7:00am. I was sound asleep, then I hear a bird come flying into my room. Yeah, it really scared me. I jumped out of my bed as fast as I could for I did not want that wild bird flying into me. No sir. So, I ran yelling for my brother James. Well I could not find him in his room, so I start running down the attic stairs and found him in the bathroom, getting ready for classes. Well, before I could tell him what had happened, mom comes out of her room and askes what was the problem. Well as I was telling her that I had a bird flying in my room, my dear brother heard and saved the day. He let the bird fly free. It really is a scary thing to wake up to a bird flying around your room and making a mess of things. To tell you the truth I have no idea as to how that bird came in. I will have to find out;)
So yeah that is the story. lol
